There are no major changes in this version, just a few behind-the-scenes improvements, and the usual update to the empheris for Jupiter to keep up the accuracy of the GRS location.
No major changes in it. We've fixed a couple of text display issues for iOS9 that didn't show up until the final drop, and tweaked the interface a bit to give users a bit more of a hint on how to set their location.

Bigger changes are coming, mind!ScopeTool@Krydohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11987612415279554470noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156090592509573196.post-22558245984887284332015-08-12T23:29:00.000+01:002015-08-12T23:30:26.989+01:00ScopeTool v1.2 is live!
Don't know if we were just lucky with the timings, but the app made it through validation at Cupertino in super fast time - thanks, Apple!

We've fixed a number of bugs, including the one that was causing audio playback to be interrupted on app launch

iOS9 compatibility fixes

And lastly, we've updated the new app icon

ScopeTool v1.0 has been approved and is now available in the App Store.

There's been a bit of a delay in getting it off to them as time has been sucked by a whole host of non-app calls on our time, but the feeling of satisfaction is there all the same; let's just hope it survives the testing process!

Hopefully in a week or so the app will be live on the App Store. Before then we'll be putting up a page about the app, giving a quick overview of the screens. We'll also be sharing thoughts about the first tools that'll be added, and would love your input on this.

Also, if anyone out there can help with translation of the app text, we'd love to provide a localised version so more people can use ScopeTool in their native language. We've got some languages covered, but would appreciate any offers of help with:

Italian

Polish

Russian

Let us know if you can assist!

Some final memory and resource testing is required, and then it can be uploaded to Apple for their checks. Fingers crossed it all goes well over in Cupertino!
